Who are CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids)
 
 
CHICKS is a small registered national charity working with some of the most disadvantaged children in the U.K; children living in extreme poverty, those who experience abuse, neglect, bullying as well as children who look after disabled parents or siblings as well with those who care for parents and siblings with mental health issues and drug or alcohol abusers.
What do CHICKS do?
We provide supported breaks in the south west of England engaging children in traditional activities such as pony riding, cycling, team games and other outdoor activities. CHICKS offer’s the chance for these youngsters to experience positive, happy memories, to make friends and to develop strong and positive relationships with adults and their peers.
