On the 5th December Alison McGregor of Lizard Peninsular Cottages presented Elanor Hoskin, Chief Executive of CHICKS, with a cheque totalling £890 on behalf of it 2011 Visitor Payback Scheme.
Every year Lizard Peninsula Holiday Cottages supports a local charity with its Visitor Payback Scheme and CHICKS was absolutely delighted to be this year's chosen charity. Its a simple concept whereby Lizard Peninsular Cottages donates £5 for every short break & weekly booking and £10 for every two week booking.
The 5th of December saw the fulfilment of this scheme when Alison McGregor visited CHICKS to present to our Chief Executive, Elanor Hoskin, with this years donation totalling £890. We were thrilled to receive this donation which will help us provide many more disadvantaged children and young carers with a much needed respite break in 2012 in the beautiful Cornish and Devonshire countryside.
