Hannah Heathwood from Exeter, is raising funds for CHICKS, by dressing up as a banana in her very own ‘Banana Challenge.’

We were delighted to receive a cheque for £1000 from Kelly College Preparatory School in Tavistock. CHICKS had been chosen by the parents association as their charity of the year and the money has been raised through a number of different fundraising events including the annual Christmas Fayre and Summer Ball.

There's a second torch relay taking place across the country that is set to benefit hundreds of disadvantaged children. Endurancelife are calling for runners to take up the baton as the Real Relay reaches Northern Ireland this Saturday, 9th June.
The Endurancelife Real Relay is an extraordinary attempt for hundreds of runners from across Great Britain to run the entire 8,000 mile route of the Olympic Torch Relay non-stop.

An extraordinary attempt to run the entire route of the Olympic Torch Relay will begin next week in Cornwall. Starting out from Land’s End at midnight on Monday 28th May, the Endurancelife Real Relay will involve hundreds of runners from across Great Britain who will collectively run every step of the 8000 mile route in one non-stop adventure.
