CrossCountry employees cycle 900 miles in aid of CHICKS

Five drivers and two fitters have swapped their train cabs for the saddle and set out on a marathon sponsored cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

The keen cyclists have trained very hard for this big challenge raising money for the CrossCountry Trains chosen charity CHICKS.

Stuart Henry, a spokesman for CrossCountry said: “The team have been so committed to this challenge and their training has gone well. There is no doubt it’s going to be a long, painful journey but hopefully with some laughs along the way. Like all CrossCountry employees, they want to do all they can to help CHICKS and their fundraising has been really successful so far. On behalf of the team I’d like to thank everyone for their support so far.”
