Business Administration Apprentice (L3)
Salary: £4.15 per hour
Location: Buckfastleigh, Devon

This is a multi-faceted role in which you will be required to provide administration and business support, under the direction of your line manager and the wider team.

There will be the opportunity to support the wider team including PR and Communications, Fundraising, HR, Finance and Respite Breaks/Referrals to widen your skill set. This can be discussed in more detail at interview to find out your interests.

You will work towards a level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard with Exeter College.

Respite Break Leader
Salary: £20,493 - £23,064
Location: Tywardreath, Cornwall 

This position is ideal for someone currently providing activities or support for groups and wants to take the next step towards more in-depth work with children and young people, helping them to realise their own potential and grow in confidence.

Respite Break Leaders aim to inspire, enthuse and guide groups of children throughout the respite break, promoting lasting positive memories and learning. They lead the respite breaks with a team of fellow Respite Break Leaders in accordance with CHICKS policies, procedures and mission statement. They ensure the children receive the best break possible by maintaining high quality respite breaks and ensuring that the health and welfare of the children is never compromised.

Break volunteer opportunities

Come and volunteer on a CHICKS break! You'll spend a week at our Daleside Retreat in Derbyshire, where you'll be able to take part in lots of exciting activities while making a difference to the lives of young people. Anyone who is 18 and over can volunteer and there is no upper age limit. You just need to be willing to get involved and have fun!

Shop volunteer opportunities

CHICKS have three charity shops in the South West, in Exeter, Torquay and Newton Abbot. They stock a unique collection of pre-loved men’s, women’s and children’s fashion items, as well as books, DVDs, records, homeware and bric-a-brac. We are always in need of refreshing our stock, and are also on the lookout for new shop volunteers!
