This is a great opportunity for a focussed and committed individual, keen to work in a busy office environment, to use their skills and dedication to help CHICKS provide respite breaks to disadvantaged children from across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be self- motivated and have good organisational skills.
The post holder is responsible for supporting and assisting the Development Manager and Trusts Team to raise funds from trusts, foundations and similar grant providers and major individual gifts.

Trusts Fundraiser (Maternity Cover)

This is a great opportunity for an individual keen to work in a trusts fundraising environment and for a charity in its next phase of growth and we are looking for a focused and committed person to take on the challenge whilst helping the charity to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fundraising team, a self-starter with good self-management skills, possess the ability to think strategically and good organisational skills with an ethos aligned to the charity.
The post holder is responsible for supporting and assisting the Trusts & Major Gifts Manager to raise funds from trusts, foundations and similar grant providers and major individual gifts.

Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire
16 hours per week (over 4 days, day time hours)
Salary: £7.83 - £8.98 per hour
We are looking to recruit a Cleaner for our Daleside Retreat in Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire. The role will involve: preparing the retreat for the arrival of the group; keeping the retreat clean and tidy throughout the week; and deep cleaning during weeks we have no children staying.
The position plays a key role in making the retreat a homely and comforting environment for the young people we work with to stay in.
The successful candidate will also assist in facilitating external rental of the retreats. More detail is given in the Job Description.
CHICKS respite breaks don’t run in January, and therefore the position is contracted for 11 months of the year February – December.
