Trusts and Major Gifts Manager

Location: Buckfastleigh, Devon (with national travel required)

Salary: £28,452 – £35,000‚Äč per annum

We are looking for an exceptional individual to be responsible for developing and implementing plans to raise funds from charitable trusts, foundations, similar grant providers and major individual gifts. This role will consist of the portfolio management of trusts and major donors, building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing funders, and the continual creation of a pipeline of funding opportunities.

Trusts Fundraiser

Salary: £15,544 – £18,816 per annum

We are seeking a Trusts Fundraiser to join our fast-paced and dynamic team, keen to work in a trusts fundraising environment for a charity in its next phase of growth. We are looking for a focused and committed person to take on the challenge whilst helping the charity to the next level. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fundraising team, be a self-starter with good self-management skills, possess the ability to think strategically, and have good organisational skills with an ethos aligned to the charity.

Break volunteer opportunities

Come and volunteer on a CHICKS break! You'll spend a week at our Daleside Retreat in Derbyshire, where you'll be able to take part in lots of exciting activities while making a difference to the lives of young people. Anyone who is 18 and over can volunteer and there is no upper age limit. You just need to be willing to get involved and have fun!

CHICKS have three charity shops in the South West, in Exeter, Torquay and Newton Abbot. They stock a unique collection of pre-loved men’s, women’s and children’s fashion items, as well as books, DVDs, records, homeware and bric-a-brac. We are always in need of refreshing our stock, and are also on the lookout for new shop volunteers!
