Making Memories… Giving Hope

#12VolunteersOfChristmas: Meet Sam!

Sam first volunteered on a CHICKS break earlier this year, and the Christmas break will be her second time at CHICKS. Sam says: “From my experience on the Mockingbird break, I know the volunteers made a difference and I was proud to be part of that week. Seeing young people enjoy and develop a variety of skills in a short space of time meant I and other volunteers made a difference.”

Sam loved her time on Mockingbird break earlier in the year, saying that “every second is ingrained in my memory.” We’re really looking forward to welcoming Sam back for Christmas this year!

She is one of the 12 generous volunteers who are spending Christmas at CHICKS to help children have an amazing time! If you can, please support our Christmas Appeal – the money we raise will mean we can help hundreds more children both at Christmas and throughout 2016.
