Making Memories… Giving Hope

#12VolunteersOfChristmas: Meet Liz!

Liz has volunteered at CHICKS every year since 2012, although this will be her first Christmas at CHICKS. She says: “I have always enjoyed my weeks at CHICKS and can’t think of a better way to spend my Christmas; surrounded by lots of new friends, taking part in activities and eating the great food that comes out of the kitchens!”

Liz wanted to come at Christmas because: “To be surrounded by caring people in a safe environment at Christmas is what every child deserves and should expect. It is hard to imagine that some children might not get this opportunity…I think for them to experience all the fun and excitement that Christmas brings and get the chance to make lots of new friends will be greatly beneficial.”

We’re VERY excited for all the volunteers to arrive later today! Liz is our 12th volunteer – we hope you’ve enjoyed meeting them all! If they’ve inspired you to volunteer yourself, sign up to a CHICKS break here.
