Making Memories… Giving Hope

Santas sprint through Tavistock

Share

Last Saturday saw over 250 adults and children sprinting through Tavistock at our annual festive fun run, the Santa Sprint!

The event was a huge success, and it was fabulous to see so many families getting into the festive spirit. The run started outside the Town Hall in Tavistock, winding round the river and finishing in The Meadows, where runners were greeted by a well deserved mince pie and a goody bag!

CHICKS owes a big thanks to: accountancy firm Condy Mathias, who sponsored the event; Tavistock Rotary Club, who assisted us with marshalling and organisations; and the Royal Marines at 42 Commando who held a warm-up for all our runners at the start of the event!

Our current total from this event stands at over £3200, and sponsorship money is still coming in, so thank you to everyone who joined in!
