Hike for Charity: The Hanger's Way and Shoulder of Mutton Hill
Join the Hike for Charity group on Saturday 23 November 2019 for their inaugural hike in Hampshire, starting in Petersfield and ending in Liss.
If you love hiking at the weekend and would enjoy the extra feel-good factor of knowing that your fee is helping children and young people in the UK, then please sign up. You'll meet other sociable hikers and get to experience some incredible views.
The first Hike for Charity takes in the Hangers Way and Shoulder of Mutton Hill, comprising a 10.3-mile (16.6 km) route starting in Petersfield and ending in Liss. The group will meet at London's Waterloo Station at 9:15am on Saturday and arrive in Petersfield for the start around 11:02am. The full hike is expected to take 5 to 6 hours.
You'll enjoy unspoilt countryside that that hasn't changed in hundreds of years. This is a walk of gentle gradients, apart from a fairly strenuous climb up Shoulder of Mutton Hill and one short steep downhill section, but the views will be worth it!
